The Chambersburg Ballet Theatre (CBT) School is located in the newly renovated and historic Capitol Theatre in downtown Chambersburg, PA. We offer 14 levels of study in classical ballet and related disciplines, for ages 4-60+, Beginning through Pre-Professional. Our affiliated not-for-profit performing Company performs a full-length “Nutcracker” each year, as well as several other runs of beloved classics and contemporary works. (SEE CO. PAGE)

As well as working with children, the CBT School welcomes teens, men and boys, adults, and senior adults. Those who wish they had learned to dance as children often find ballet to be fun and challenging. We’ve had several families where both parents study ballet, as well as some or all of their children. Athletes come to us too, for cross training that greatly improves flexibility, agility, and endurance.

We offer excellent summer camps and programs, which in addition to ballet include contemporary modern and jazz styles, character dance, and a Saturday Adult “Stretch and Relax” mat class, which combines the best of core body exercise, yoga and ballet stretches.

Our CBT Summer Day Camp compares very well with the very best “intensives” held in the U.S., but at a fraction of the cost! You won’t find more individual attention anywhere. Housing is available for a very few who call us early.
