McClellan Chilcote     }   On Tuesday Sept. 14, 1914, Charley Wible, D.P. Madden, 
                           and Scott Benson, were by me J.G. Lane, J.P., Sworn in as
       vs.             }appraisers, to appraise the Damages of a certain span of 
                           Estray mules at the residence of McClellan Chilcote in 
  Estray Mules         }Springfield Township Huntingdon County Pennsylvania.
                          }   On Wednesday Sept. 14, 1915 said Appraisers reappear and
                          }make oath that said Appraisment has been made and found to be
                          }be seventy five cents (.75) per day.

                          }me, J.G. Lane J.P., and makes oath that henotified J.S. Long
                          }on Sept. 14, 1915, that a span of Estray mules were at 
                          }McClellan Chilcotes and same would be appraised giving place

between eight and sixteen years of age was not in attendance at a day school in which 
the common English branches are taught in the English language, and that McClellan 
Chilcote, who is the person in charge or control of said Elmer McMonigal, has failed 
to send the said Elmer McMonigal to a day school, in which the common English braches 
are taught in the English language on the days hereinbefore specified and has failed 
to present, or cause to be presented to the proper authorities a legal excuse for said 
absence, contrary to the form of the act of Assembly in such case made and provided.

Be it known that on this 28th. day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred 
and twenty six before me, the undersigned Alderman Justice of the Peace, Magistrate in and for the 
County afore said, personally came Chas. S. Stains Truant Officer who being duly sworn according to
law deposes and says that on the 17th., 19th., 22nd.days of November, and on 10th., 13th., 17th., 
21st. days of December A.D. 1926 Esther Hockenberry a child between eight and sixteen years of age 
was not in attendance at a day school in which the common English branches are taught in the English
language, and that John Hockenberry, the father, of said Esther Hockenberry has failed to send the 
said Esther Hockenberry to a day school in which the common English branches are taught in the 
English language on the days hereinbefore specified, and has failed to present or cause to be 
presented to the proper authorities a legal excuse for said absence, contrary to the form of the 
acts of assembly in such case made and provided.

said Adeline and James Wible to a day school in which the common English branches are taught in the 
English language on the days hereinbefore specified, and has failed to present or cause to be

acts of assembly in such case made and provided.

                       }   May 4, 1929 Constable returns Attachment with certain goods annexed,  but 
Oath of Const.    .25  }no person was to be found on said premises of Said John Jack.
Constable Cost  $4.60  }   May 4, 1929, Summons was issued and given to said Constable 
Trial of Judgm't 1.00  }to Summons said John Jack to appear before J.G. Lane J.P. on Thursday May 9, 
                       }said Summons on 1929 between the hours of 5 and 6 P.M.
                       }   May 6, 1929 said H.B. Roher returns said Summons and on Oath Swears he
                       }served said John Jack by leaving a Copy with his wife.
