Springfield Township is very rural and bounds Fulton County on the south
and Cromwell Township on the north.
I plan on adding more information concerning Springfield Township as time permits.

- Early data on Pa., Hunt. Co., and Springfield Twp. contains background material concerning the 1700 -- 1800's of Pennsylvania, Huntingdon County, and Springfield Township. Many early pioneers of Springfield Township are listed.
- Stain's Family Cemetery is a small family cemetery located in the southern part of Springfield Township near the County Bridge that crosses the western branch of the Aughwich Creek which forked at Maddensville.
- Wible Cemetery is located about 2 miles east of Selea and 4 miles southest of Three Springs.
- Justice of The Peace Docket Book of H.C. Cremer who lived at Brownsville (Selea) and later Maddensville, Springfield Township, Huntingdon County, Pa. Many names of residents of the area are listed; and, it is "copied as penned". The material was written during the Civil War period -- 1860's.
- Cromwell Church Cemetery is located west of State Route 475 at the Huntingdon/Fulton County Line, about 2 miles south of Maddensville and north of Clear Ridge, Pa.
- Taylor Cemetery is located near the Walnut Grove Church at Maddensville, Pa. on the former Isaiah Locke farm.
- Baker Cemetery is located near Meadow Gap, at the end of a private road running north beside the Aughwick Creek to the James and Barbara Barlow Farm.
- Kyler Cemetery is located east of Three Springs about one and a half miles and south of State Route 994.
- Fleck Cemetery is located west of Route 747 and about 4 miles north of Three Springs on the Norman Kelly farm.
- Evans Cemetery is located in extreme southern part of Springfield Township on the Andrew and Nora Grissinger Farm near the Huntingdon / Fulton County Line.

- Center Church Cemetery: Located in Fulton County, about 2 miles south of Dublin Mills and 1 mile north of Route 655. Situated about midway between Waterfall and Hustontown, Pa. in Fulton County. Pages 1 and 2 below.
- Oliver Stains Farm Cemetery: Located in Springfield Township about one fourth of a mile northeast of Mount Carmel Methodist Church or northeast of the Wible Cemetery and on the eastern boundary of the current farm owned by Wayne Grissinger.
- Three Springs Cemetery: Located on the Northern part of the Borough of Three Springs, to the right of State Route 747.
- Old Methodist Cemetery at Maddensville: Located at the forks of the Aughwich Creek where Sidling Hill Creek and Little Aughwich Branch off of the Aughwich. Also where Route 475 intersects the road from Maddensville to Selea. The Old Methodist Church once stood here as a monument attests to the building committee of J. Snyder, S. Rimes, N.K. Covert, J. Uncles, J.W. Buckley, and Jas. Linn dated 1855.
- Old Locke Family Farm Cemetery
Located about 2 miles north of Fort Littleton in Dublin Township, Fulton County, near Sinoquippe Road and along Boy Scout Road and located on the Sinoquippe Boy Scout Reservation
- Walnut Grove Church of God: 1842 - 1992
Early history of The Walnut Grove Church of God and the Camp Meetings that were held at this location, Maddensville area, in the early 1800's. Pastors who served at Walnut Grove etc. are listed.
- Early 1900's Scrap Book: The is Emma (Gutshall) Fleck's Scrap Book. It has many newspaper clippings in it. It dates from the early 1900's. Penned as written.
