President's Message I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and you are prepared for a great 2002. Your Franklin County Shrine is geared up for a busy year with many activities that I hope you and your family will become involved with. The club has a new slate of officers and we need your support for success. The officers and I want you to become involved in helping this Shrine Club grow and we have incentives for you if you bring a new member to the organization. There will be an ongoing discussion regarding this matter. The first activity for the New Year will be our OYSTER NIGHT and installation of officers at the Mont Alto Fire Hall on January 24th at 7 p.m. Contact Gerald Caufman to make your reservation. The CIRCUS will be coming to town April 4th-6th. This is a great time for the volunteers who work. Making arrangements and taking the children to the circus is a very rewarding way to spend a day. If you become involved in working at the circus there will be an appreciation party free to those who work. Ask your wives to help out too and they will be invited to the party. There will be no meeting in April since the Circus takes up your valuable time. All of our Board of Directors meeting will be held at the Mont Alto Ambulance Squad Building the second Thursday of each month. If you have something for the good of the order bring it tour attention. GET INVOLVED should be the motto of this club, bring a new member and I will have a special recognition for you. We are going to have a good productive year with your support. Your ideas are very important to the Board of Directors and myself, so please bring them to me and the Board of Directors will give all ideas consideration. Your help will help Franklin County Shrine Club be on e of the best Shrine Clubs on the Zembo roster. We have already been recognized for having the most active TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE and I would like to take this time to congratulate those who participate in driving the children to the Shrine Hospitals.
