A BIBLE SCENARIO
Join with me in viewing the following scenario:

A Bible quoting, Spirit filled, "dyed in the wool" pietistic believer stands at the pearly gates waiting for passage into heaven. An Angel
appears and with a loud voice,

"Access denied".

The Believer: "WHY"

The Angel: While in your life time, your Bible quoting methods and your obsession with your own piety and righteousness denied the
Holy Spirit His power and work in your life.

The Believer: But did we not say in our self-righteous arrogance, Lord, Lord, and did we not promote and evangelize by compelling people to come
to you, all the while judging and condemning people who did not fit
our perception of what the Holiness of God is all about.

The Angel: Your eclectic interpretation and selectivity of the Holy Scriptures, and the manipulation of events to maintain your sovereignty at the
price of beating a dead body over and over thus preempting the power
of God and His righteousness.

The Angel: God looks upon you as a bundle of dirty rags, and therefore, access is denied.

OR

A Bible quoting, Spirit filled, "dyed in the wool" pietistic believer stands at the pearly gates waiting for passage into heaven. An Angel
appears and with a loud voice,

"YOU MAY ENTER."

The Believer: "What have I done to merit such a reward?"

The Angel: "You have walked humbly before your God, and allowed God to use you in ways that are not seen by men, and yet glorified God."

The Believer: "When did I do these things?"

The Angel: God does not measure your material success stories and your human prowness as your loyalty to him. But he measures the costs
that you bore in your willingness to resist the evil(s) that confronted you
doing your sojourn on earth.

The Believer: " I am a man of unclean lips, and I have erred greatly. I am unworthy to receive such a reward."

The Angel: "Welcome, for the "Blood of the Lamb" has made you worthy."

WHICH BELIEVER ARE YOU?
