The February meeting of the Mason Dixon Corvette Club was held on Feb 8, 2010 at Greenvillage Restaurant, Chambersburg, PA. President Steve Smith called the meeting to order.

On a motion made by Pat Biancolli and 2^nd by Greg Rock the minutes were accepted.

Treasurer’s report was read by Dick Bender and on a motion made by Suzy Sease and 2^nd by Jim Wagner were accepted.

GOVERNOR REPORT : No Report

^{OLD BUSINESS:}

· Greg and Mary Warren will be hosting the Spring Cruise on April 3, 2010 at Sight & Sound in Lancaster, PA. Show at 1:00 PM and dinner at Hershey Farms. Final payment was due at this February meeting.

• The club has sold all of the GM books for $25.00 each. Steve asked club members if they want to order the minimum quantity of 10 books. It was decided to have Dickie order 10 more books to be used to sell and/or used as prizes at future events.

NEW BUSINESS

• Steve commented how he was surprised about how many members showed up for the meeting considering the weather. He stated how to inform club members if a meeting has to be cancelled. Members suggested using the phone chains and radio stations to announce cancellations if needed. Continued discussion at next meeting.

• Suzy reported that the Awards Banquet will be held on February 20, 2010 at the Waynesboro Country Club. The price will be $25.00 per person. Money and reservations were due at this meeting. Happy Hour will be at 5:30 PM and Dinner at 6:30 PM. Also, Curtis & Julie Mummert have been invited as our special guests. Curtis has pledged half of the awards for that evening. Steve “thanked” Bob, Bonnie and Dick for their help with the awards portion of the banquet.

• Steve talked about different event ideas for our club. Such as: Spring/Fall Cruises, Buchanan Car Show, Hickory Bridge Farm, Parades, Picnic, M & S Show. At our next meeting he will pass out a survey with different event ideas for members to rate their “Top 5” event.

• Dick & Bonnie Bender will be hosting the 2010 Fall Cruise.

· The club currently has 103 members as of February 8, 2010. Letters will be mailed to members who do not come to meetings to pay their dues.

SPONSOR’S COMMENT: No Report

· 50/50 of $18.50 was won by Suzy Sease

· On a motion made by Bob Laughlin and 2^nd by Richard Miller the February meeting was

adjourned to 8:10 PM
