OLD BUSINESS:
· Steve Smith asked club members if they attended any local car shows this past weekend. No one in the club reported that they did.
· Herb Kopsch reported on the new club banner. Originally Advanced Graphics quoted a price for an 8 x 3 banner for $179.00. At our June meeting it was decided to go with a 6 x 3 banner so Herb had the company produce this banner. Bob Laughlin supplied the logo to the company. The first banner the company produced they forgot to add the stitched pocket and the wording “established” was spelled out, which our club only wanted it abbreviated as “est.” So, the company apologized and made another banner with the stitched pocket and corrected lettering. The company offered the first banner to Herb at a discount so the total cost of two banners was $154.48. Herb and Ralph Helman held up both banners to show to the club members. The members were very happy with both banners. Good Job Herb! The banners are now in the possession of Ralph Helman, our member at large. Anyone interested in using the banner for club purposes, please contact Ralph.

· Steve said that he was looking at the upcoming Fall schedule and we have some things scheduled (Fall Cruise, M & S Cycles Show, Ocean City) but would like any other club ideas for this time of year. Asking club members to think about it and let him know. Fall is one of the best times of the year for our events.
· Steve stated that before our August meeting that someone in our club will be celebrating his 92nd birthday on July 31st. Our very own Fred Adams. Steve said that Fred is one of the, if not the only, oldest active Corvette member in the country.
Happy 92nd Fred!

· Steve talked about donating to a charitable cause. He asked Tom Martin on what ideas he and Cal Farrar had come up with. Tom reported that he has contacted a Fire Department to try to help us find the most needed persons/family/small group that we could help. Was thinking to help during the Christmas holiday by donating a tree, presents, etc to this family/group. Once he gets more information he will let us know at a future meeting.
