The April meeting of the Mason Dixon Corvette Club was held on April 14, 2008 at Greenvillage, Chambersburg, Pa. President Jeff Bishop called the meeting to order. On a motion made by Tom Martin and 2^nd by Jim Wagner the minutes were accepted. Treasurers Report was read by Dick Bender, on a motion made by Tom Shughart and 2^nd by Ralph Helman were approved.

Jay presented the Club with a plaque from the National Corvette Museum.

• Dick Bender has hat’s for sale $10.00 a piece. They come in pink, blue, purple & black. One size fits all.

• Steve Smith will have a cruise to Hickory Bridge Farm on 5-18-08, sign up sheet will be passed around at the May meetings. We will meet at 11:00 AM at the John Wayne Truck Stop, Greencastle, PA. Seating is for 12:00 Noon. Cost $29.00.

• Ron Flegel reported the car show will May 10, 2008. Registration will be from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, judging from 11:00 to 1:30 PM and awards at 2:30 PM. Registration fee will be $12.00 no pre registration. Show will be held rain or shine. There will be 6 classes with a 1^st and 2^nd award for each class. Judging will be by the drivers and there will be a Best of Show chosen by the Dealership. Antietam Dairy will have ice cream. We will be having a DJ. There will 50/50, door prizes and a silent auction. Any questions call Ron.

• Dickie’s drive to Tom Shaffer’s will be 7-13-08. We will stop an eat some

where. More information to follow.

∙ Jack Irby announced the Manassas, VA cruise is August 9, 2008, Time will be 4:00 to 8:00 PM more information to follow.

• No new member for the month of April. We have 119 as of 4-14-08. We

need you to bring in new members. A new application is on our web site.

• 1978 Corvette contest at Carlisle, check web site to vote.

· The Club Picnic will be Saturday July 19, 2008 at Dick & Bonnie Benders house. It is the Club’s 35^th Anniversary. Hope to have some special events Hope everyone can come. $12.00 per person. By show of hands voted to not give a $5.00 discount for the picnic.

· Tom Martin reported 5-31-08 at Gaithersburg, MD Corvette America

• Jeff presented Rick & Deb Kohler the appreciation award for the photos taken at the Father’s Day Fly In last year.

• Bob Laughlin announced that there will not be a Father’s Day Fly In this year.

· Bob Sease won the 50/50 $27.00

Curtis Mummert won a poster.

• On a motion made by Tom Martin and 2^nd by Ralph Helman meeting was

adjourned at 8:25 P.M.
