The February meeting of the Mason Dixon Corvette Club was held on February 11, 2008 at Greenvillage, Chambersburg, PA. President Jeff Bishop called the meeting to order. On a motion made by Tom Martin and 2^nd by Ralph Helman the minutes were accepted. Treasurers Report was read by Dick Bender an on a motion made by Peggi Helman and 2^nd by Tom Shughart were approved.

No report.

· Dick Bender has hat’s for sale $10.00 a piece. They come in pink, blue, purple & black. One size fits all.

• Adera Laughlin reported that the Awards Banquet was held on 2-9-08 at the

Waynesboro County Club. Everyone seemed like they had a good time. Checking on date for 2009.

• Ron Flegel announced Buchanan Auto is our new sponsor. They will be doing 100 new cling ons for our 35^th Anniversary. They will be printing the Newsletter. Curtis Mummert was welcomed at our meeting. Curtis announced he is working on discounts for club members and there will be award cards. On a motion made by Ralph Helman, seconded by Herb Kopsch the money made from the show will go to the Cancer Society. Ron said he will need helpers, let him know if you can help. Registration will be from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, judging from 11:00 to 2:00 PM and awards at 3:00 PM. Registration fees are: pre-registration $10.00 day of show $15.00. Judging will be by the drivers and there will be a Dealers Choice, also maybe a peoples choice. Everyone please bring a door prize. More information to follow on the car show.

There is a Web site where you can sign up for Cruises. The e-mails received will be sent to the Chairman of the cruise.

· One new member for the month of February. We now have 144 members. We

need you to bring in new members. A new application is on our web site.

• Spring Cruise will be April 26, 2008. Bob & Suzy Sease are putting it together.

We will be going to Harpers Ferry, WV. We will meet at 9:30 A.M. at the Sheetz on Route 16 and Washington Township Blvd. East of Waynesboro in Rouzerville.

Sign up sheet will be passed around at the March & April meetings. The cost is $6.00 dollars to park & ride the shuttle bus and $25.00 for the meal at the Anvil Restaurant.

· The Club Picnic will be July 19, 2008 at Dick & Bonnie Benders house. It is the Club’s 35^th Anniversary. Hope to have some special events Hope everyone can come.

· Steve Smith hopes to do a Cruise to Hickory Bridge Farm sometime in May, more information to follow.

• President Jeff Bishop appointed Ron Flegel as liason to Buchanan Automotive.

• Since Ron Yaukey was unable to be at the awards banquet, president Jeff Bishop presented Ron Yaukey with an appreciation award for M & S Corvette Show. Jeff also presented Ron with the 2007 Presidents award.

· Dickie also would like to do a drive sometime in June. More information to follow.

· Jim & Cherry Wagner won the 50/50 $25.00

Donna Haugh won the 4 posters.

• On a motion made by Bonnie Bender and 2^nd by Elaine Shughart meeting was

adjourned at 8:35 P.M.
