The June meeting of the Mason Dixon Corvette Club was held on June 9, 2008 at Green Village, Chambersburg, PA.. President Jeff Bishop called the meeting to order. On a motion made by Joan Rauschenberger and 2^nd by Herb Kopsch the minutes were accepted. Treasurers Report was read by Dick Bender, on a motion made by Ralph Helman and 2^nd by Tom Martin were approved.

Congratulation to Bob & Adera Laughlin on receiving the most votes for their C-3. They will have the car at Carlisle in August.

• Dick Bender has hat’s for sale $10.00 a piece. They come in pink, blue, purple & black. One size fits all.

• Bill Leight reported going to the Western Sizzlin Steakhouse, they have a big

room for us to use, but we must eat there. Jeff is going to check on Break Away-

Sports Bar. July’s meeting will still be at Tony’s, until Jeff gives us the

information from Break Away.

• Dickie’s drive to Tom Shaffer’s will be 7-13-08. Sign up sheet and count need by

our June meeting. We will meet at M & S Harley Davison, leave no later than

11:30 AM.We will stop and eat, then be at Tom’s by mid afternoon.

• One new member for the month of June. We have 122 as of 6-9-08. We

need you to bring in new members. A new application is on our web site.

· The Club Picnic will be Saturday July 19, 2008 at Dick & Bonnie Benders house. It is the Club’s 35^th Anniversary. Hope to have some special events. Hope everyone can come. If you see any past members, please invite them to come. $12.00 per person. Sign up sheet will be passed around at July meeting. Need count and money by July 14 meeting.

· Jeff reported that Jim Rosen will not be coming to one of our meetings. We are to far away.

• Ron Yaukey reported that the M & S Show will be Aug. 30, 2008. Reg. starts at

9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Show runs from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM, awards at 2:30

PM. Rain date is Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008. The money raised this year will benefit

the Children’s Aid Society (Frances Leiter Center)

• Ron Flegel reported that Mont Alto Fire Company would like us to have a cruise-in /show at their new Community Center Sept. 27, 2008. The money raised will benefit the Fire Company. Reg. 2:00 to 4:00 PM, show 4:00 to 6:00 PM, awards at 6:30 PM. More information to follow.

• Ron Flegel reported that he and Greg & Mary Warren, Bob & Suzy Sease went over to York, PA to the Cruzin Vettes show on 6-7-08.

Suzy & Bob Sease won 1^st Place in the C-5 Class.

• On 7-27-08 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM auto detailing will be held at the C-4 Alley in Chambersburg,

· Ron Flegel won the 50/50 $24.50

• On a motion made by Bill Leight and 2^nd by Bobbie Smith meeting was

adjourned at 8:20 P.M.
