The March meeting of the Mason Dixon Corvette Club was held on March 10, 2008 at Tony’s Pizza, Hagerstown, MD. President Jeff Bishop called the meeting to order. On a motion made by Tom Martin and 2^nd by Herb Kopsch the minutes were accepted. Treasurers Report was read by Dick Bender, on a motion made by Bob Laughlin and 2^nd by Tom Martin were approved.

No report.

• Dick Bender has hat’s for sale $10.00 a piece. They come in pink, blue, purple & black. One size fits all.

• Spring Cruise will be April 26, 2008. Bob & Suzy Sease are putting it together.

We will be going to Harpers Ferry, WV. We will meet at 9:30 A.M. at the Sheetz on Route 16 and Washington Township Blvd. East of Waynesboro in Rouzerville.

Last time to sign up will be April’s meeting money is also due then. The cost is $6.00 dollars to park & ride the shuttle bus and $25.00 for the meal at the Anvil Restaurant. You only pay for the meal in advance.

• Ron Flegel reported the car show will May 10, 2008. Registration will be from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, judging from 11:00 to 1:30 PM and awards at 2:30 PM. Registration fee will be $12.00 no pre registration. Show will be held rain or shine. There will be 6 classes with a 1^st and 2^nd award for each class. Judging will be by the drivers and there will be a Best of Show chosen by the Dealership. The Waynesboro Fire Department will be providing the food, Antietam Dairy will have ice cream. We will be having a DJ. There will 50/50, door prizes and a silent auction. Would like to have everyone bring something. The flyers for the show will be out soon. Any questions call Ron.

There is a Web site where you can sign up for Cruises. The e-mails received will be sent to the Chairman of the cruise.

• No new member for the month of March. We have 117 as of 3-10-08. We

need you to bring in new members. A new application is on our web site.

• Since Jack Irby was unable to be at the Awards Banquet, President Jeff Bishop presented Jack with an appreciation award for doing the Spring Cruise and Suzy presented Jack with his Good Yellow Duck Award.

· The Club Picnic will be July 19, 2008 at Dick & Bonnie Benders house. It is the Club’s 35^th Anniversary. Hope to have some special events Hope everyone can come.

· Steve Smith will have a cruise to Hickory Bridge Farm on 5-18-08, sign up sheet will be passed around at the April and May meetings. We will meet at 11:00 AM at the John Wayne Truck Stop, Greencastle, PA. Seating is for 12:00 Noon. Cost $29.00.

• Donnie Dietrich announced Cruise Ins start April 5th at Longmeadow and April 12^th at Valley Mall.

• Dickie announced the Skyline Drive Show will be July 12, 2008.

· Dickie’s drive to Tom Shaffer’s will be 7-13-08. We will stop an eat some where. More information to follow.

∙ Jack Irby announced the Manassas, VA cruise is some time in July, he will get date, time and information to us later.

· Joan Rauschenberger won the 50/50 $27.00

Sharon Zaretskie won a poster.

• On a motion made by Tom Martin and 2^nd by Bob Sease meeting was

adjourned at 8:20 P.M.
